I started my journey into Patchwork and Quilting in New Zealand in 2010. Fast forward a few years and we are back in the UK and I attend Festival of Quilts and see a longarm quilting machine for the first time. After lots of discussion and deliberation I made the decision to purchase one and haven't looked back. I was delighted to be appointed one of two Handi Quilter Educators in the UK in August 2018.
I also offer longarm quilting services for others, from my Shipston on Stour studio, and view it as a real honour to be able to work on other people's quilts.
I have found a real passion for teaching and love to share my passion with fellow quilters and impart knowledge, hints and tips to help them on their journey. I teach on various subjects for both longarm and domestic quilters and I am also happy to tailormake workshops for groups, friends or Guilds. Talks include Longarm Quilting, Modern Quilting and Entry into Quilt Shows. I am willing to travel to teach or talk and will happily discuss all options.
Whilst have tended towards a modern aesthetic over the last few years I still admire traditional quilts and actually tend to make what pleases me. I have always had rather eclectic tastes and that has now extended to quilting!
