Quilters’ Guild Region 6 Regional Day - Oxfordshire

This event takes place on 24th September 2016 from 10:00am to 4:00pm and will take place at Benson Parish Hall nr Wallingford, Oxon OX10 6LZ. It is a Guild event being organised by Henriette Kerr, 01993 200 974.

Doors open from 9.30 am for refreshments. PARKING: Hall's car park. (Also on road if necessary.) 

£15 for members, £25 non-members –prices include a kit for the workshop 

Special offer – non-members who join the Quilters’ Guild on the day will receive £10 cash back 

Afternoon session only (1pm onwards) £5 

Morning session: HAND QUILTING WITH A DIFFERENCE 

Workshop led by Hazel Ryder from Institches 

"We shall be exploring the possibilities of hand quilting with big stitches and unusual stitches, and combinations and decorative threads. Use it to add texture and interest to your quilts and wall hangings. This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience." 

NEEDS LIST: hand sewing kit with small scissors and selection of large eyed needles. Afternoon Session 1:30pm
